Holiday message from Department Chair Yehudit Silverman

Hello everyone,

As we enter the cold dark days of winter (at least here in Montreal!) I want to send out warmth and light to all of you.  As Chair of the Department of Creative Arts Therapies I have the privilege to represent our department and field to the rest of the University and often to the community at large.  What I discover over and over is how much creative arts therapies is needed and how unique and important our field is.  I know it is sometimes difficult to remember this, as many of you struggle to find jobs and get the respect you deserve.  I think we need to claim our role as leaders in the field of arts and health.  To this aim the department recently created AHRC- Arts and Health Research Collective  that highlights the research of faculty members in the field of arts and health.
