Seeds of Hope Suicide Project | New website in English + French

Seeds of Hope - an arts based approach to raise awareness about suicide now has a website in English and French. This project was under the direction of Concordia University Drama Therapy professor Yehudit Silverman, in collaboration with the Education and Community Programs Department of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Four groups strongly affected by suicide attended creative arts therapies workshop and found a way to express both suffering and hope in the medium of masks. Their masks were exhibited in a month long exhibition at the Museum. Matteo Esteves, one of the participants in the exhibition, has created a wonderful website in both English and French. For those of you who were not present, it was truly an amazing evening with a packed house and a real feeling of respect and empathy. Out of the exhibition there has already been further action to raise awareness about the issue of suicide. Check out the website.
