Bonnie Harnden among Fine Arts professors presenting at CTL’s WinterFest 2020
Now in it’s 8th year the Centre for Teaching and Learning’s popular Teaching and Learning Winterfest is back. The theme of Winterfest 2020 goes right to the heart of innovation and academic leadership. Through reflective teaching practices, scholarly research, and a commitment to educational development, faculty at Concordia continue to prepare themselves for the critical undertaking of helping students achieve intellectual and personal transformation and growth.
Creative Arts Therapies Associate Professor and Drama Therapy Option Coordinator Bonnie Harnden, along with Art Education Chair + Associate Professor Juan Carlos Castro, Theatre Associate Professor Gene Gibbons and Simone de Beauvoir Institute Assistant Professor Natalie Kouri-Towe, participated in a panel discussion entitled “Experiential learning at its best: Creating a next generation learning experience to match student’s knowledge with the professional needs of today.”
Faculty from Fine Arts also presenting include Part-time professor Lorraine Oades (Intermedia (Video, Performance and Electronic Arts), ARTX & Sculpture, Studio Arts), Part-time professor Florence Figols (Contemporary Dance), Assistant Professor Carmela Cucuzzella (Design and Computation Arts), and Dean, Faculty of Fine Arts and Professor Art History Rebecca Duclos.
Teaching and Learning Winter Festival 2020 is held from January 24 to February 14, 2020.
