Dance Alumni perform at Festival TransAmériques May 26 to June 8

Two former contemporary dance students will have work featured at the Festival TransAmériques, taking place in Montreal from May  26 to June 8, 2016.

Alumna Dana Michel (BFA Contemporary Dance, 2006) will present Mercurial George, a quirky plunge into the unconventional universe of a performance. Katie Ward, who completed two years in the program as an advanced independent student, choreographed for the unorthodox Peter James in Pluton - Acte 2 which upends prejudice toward the elderly by pairing seasoned 30 or 40-something performers with living legends of Quebec dance.
