Dance Alumni Kick Off Fall Season Around Montreal
We are proud to announce that alumni are kicking off the new season all around the city. It will be a highly charged weekend!
Chloé Bourdages-Roy is presenting Déracinement in the free outdoor series of Festival Quartiers Danse. Performers include alumni Joachim Yensen-Martin and Danika Cormier.
Jeff Hall performs Falling, that “honours the challenge and the story of the choreographer., forever changed after an accident. A breathtaking and moving solo performance evoking his struggle to regain his physical abilities, his presence his life.“ Opening Night, Triple Bill. Friday, September 9, 8pm. Alumni Andrew Tay and Milan Gervais, Mistaya Hemingway a former LaLaLa Human steps dancer and Concordia alumna in Urban Planning, as well as Bristish choreographer Tim Casson will discuss their choreographic practices. Hosted by faculty member Angélique Willkie. Free.

Andrew Tay and Sasha Kleinplatz are presenting another of their wildly excting and unexpected Short and Sweet cabarets at Théâtre La Chapelle. Twenty artists perform original 3 minute works. Tickets go fast, best to reserve.
Followed by La Chapelle’s 4 seasons launch on Saturday, September 10th, 9 :30pm, open to all, free.
