Emmanuelle Lê Phan (BFA Contemporary Dance, 2003), co-director of Tentacle Tribe Dance company performs their new work Fractals of You at Place-des-Arts' Cinquième Salle from November 15 to 19. «With extreme fluidity that is in perfect symbiosis with the soundscape, Emmanuelle Lê Phan and Elon Höglund here pursue even further their exploration of harmony with the moving images of the painter Gene Pendon...A visual phantasmagoria, a bewitchingly beautiful journey within that opens up the imagination and quickens the senses.»  Rate for ages 30 and under : available at the Place des Arts box office or at 514-842-2112 – 1-866-842-2112  

Miguel Medina, musical accompanist for classes in the department performs in La Otra Orilla's production Moi & les autres as part of Off-Cinars, November 16, 8pm at Maison de la culture Frontenac.

Milan Panet-Gigon (BFA Contemporary Dance, 2015) will perform in Virginie Brunelle's new group work À la douleur que j'ai, November 23-26 at Usine C. 

Greg 'Krypto' Selinger (BFA Contemporary Dance, 2013) will share the evening with Korean break dance choreographer Daniel Wook Jun in what is described as 'Vital forces: hip-hop infused choreographies that embrace literature, philosophy and spirituality. December 1 to 4, at Monument-National, a Tangente production. 

Recent:

Pierre-Paul Savoie (BFA Modern Dance, 1986), Artistic Director of PPS Danse, in co-production with Coup de coeur francophone presented Corps, Amour, Anarchie,(Love Body Anarchy) at Place-des-Arts on November 11& 12. An interdisciplinary performance conceived and directed by Pierre-Paul Savoie, to celebrate the work of Léo Ferré, a great artist of the 20th century. Under the musical direction of Philippe B and Philippe Brault, it brought together 15 artists on stage, including four singers, five musicians and six dancers. 

Robert Lépine, longstanding musical accompanist was a member of the 70s francophone progressive rock music group Maelstrom. Their album recorded 40 years ago at the famous André Perry studio in Morin-Heights, was finally launched on October 30th http://www.maelstromquebec.com
