The 2017-18 contemporary dance season in Montreal has started and theatres and festivals are brimming with new works and performances by alumni and students of the Department of Contemporary Dance.
“This season’s performances really show the depth of Concordia’s involvement in the Montreal dance community, as well as the artistic versatility and diversity of our alumna and our students,” says Silvy Panet-Raymond, Chair of Concordia's Department of Contemporary Dance.

Quartiers Danses Festival
September 7
Brittney Gering (2017) and Greg Selinger (2013) performed in the Festival’s opening show The Man Who Traveled Nowhere in Time by Kyra Jean.
September 11 & 13
Milan Gervais and her company Human Playground specializing in outdoor performances such as Parking could be seen at Place des Festivals part of Montreal’s 375th anniversary celebrations.
September 15 at 8 p.m
Guillaume Loslier-Pinard is performing in a new work by British choreographer Tim Casson. They met last year during an activity organized by the Festival and hosted in the Department of Contemporary Dance. Catch Carte Postale at the Place-des-Arts, 5e Salle.
