BFA Contemporary Dance Founder Appointed to Order of Canada

Fourty years ago, Elizabeth Langley designed the BFA Contemporary Dance program at Concordia, becoming the first Chair of the Department when it launched in 1980-1981. Since then, she has been a pillar of the community, mentoring countless contemporary dancers. Her accomplishments and contributions have been recognized with an Order of Canada, "one of our country's highest civilian honours."
