Carmela Cucuzzella elected to the Board of Directors of Sustainable Concordia

Professor Carmela Cucuzzella has been elected to the Board of Directors of Sustainable Concordia.

The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the SC budget; reviewing work plans and goals with project coordinators; being receptive to community concerns and needs; and, if necessary, assisting in conflict resolution.

In order to support Sustainable Concordia's organizational development, important BOD roles also include providing mentorship and guidance; understanding staff specialties and ynamics; offering vision and foresight; and encouraging reflection.

There are currently seven (10) directors sitting on Sustainable Concordia's board. Each holds significant knowledge of the organization and was elected at the Spring 2013 AGM. Quorum is four (6) and decisions are made by consensus minus one.
