This October, Concordia Theatre alumni took the Montreal English Theatre Awards by storm with 12 nominations and five wins. Congratulations to all!
The winners were:
Letitia Brookes (BFA 12-Theatre) in the category of “Outstanding Lead Performance – Actress” for The Mountaintop
Michael Hughes (BFA 13-Theatre and Development) Co-Winner in the category of “Outstanding Ensemble” for Around the World in 80 Days
Zoe Roux (McKean) (BFA 16-Design for the Theatre) Winner of a 2017-2018 Montreal English Theatre Award (META) in the category of “Outstanding Emerging Artist-Production)”: Set & Lighting Design for Invasive Species and Smackhead
Anisa Cameron (BFA 02- Drama for Human Development) Director of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Côte Saint-Luc Dramatic Society), in the category of “Outstanding Community Production”
Michael Payette (BFA 07-Theatre and Development) in the category of “Outstanding Direction” for Around the World in 80 Days
