Performance Creation student snags award for VR research
Congratulations to Andrei Mamaliga (4th year BFA Specialization in Performance Creation), recipient of a Concordia Undergraduate Student Research Award. Over the summer he will be working with Concordia University Research Chair and Assistant Professor (Theatre) Shauna Janssen, on New Media & Virtual Reality Dramaturgy for Performance Creation. Part of the research will involve testing 360˚ filming and the potentials of its use in contemporary theatre and performance practice.
