Congratulations to this year’s Beta Gamma Sigma inductees

The 2012 Beta Gamma Sigma Induction Ceremony, held on June 18th in the BMO Amphitheatre, saw 122 students be inducted into the AACSB’s honour society (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).

Beta Gamma Sigma is an international honour; with the expansion of accreditation by AACSB International, membership is no longer limited to those who have studied in the U.S. or Canada. These outstanding Concordia students are now eligible for the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in an undergraduate or graduate program at a school accredited by AACSB International.

Students who rank in the top five percent of the junior class, the top 10 percent of the senior class and the top 20 percent of the PhD, Master's and Graduate Diploma programs at schools accredited by AACSB International are eligible for an invitation to membership.

Guest speaker Sanjay Sharma, Dean of the School of Business Administration at the University of Vermont, and former John Molson School of Business dean, expressed his joy to be speaking to students for whom he was dean for many of their academic years.
