Gary Johns Receives Rare Honour

JMSB Professor and Senior Concordia University Research Chair in Management, Gary Johns, received the Award for Distinguished Contributions to Industrial and Organizational Psychology in Canada from the Canadian Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (CSIOP) in 2012.

JMSB Professor and Senior Concordia University Research Chair in Management, Gary Johns, received the Award for Distinguished Contributions to Industrial and Organizational Psychology in Canada from the Canadian Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (CSIOP).

The prestigious award, which is only given every three to five years, was presented to Johns at the annual convention of the Canadian Psychological Association in Halifax on June 15.

“This is an honour that is bestowed on the field's most accomplished researchers by the CSIOP,” said JMSB Dean, Steve Harvey. “Please join me in congratulating him on this remarkable achievement.”

CSIOP is an official section of the Canadian Psychological Association. Its members consist of faculty from university psychology departments and business schools, consultants from various organizations, and university students.
