Janet Kar, Michael Malo, Salar Molaei and Marianne Springman represented Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business at the fourth annual KPG Competition organized by AéMGP (Association Étudiante de la Maîtrise en Gestion de Projet) of ESG UQAM. It was Concordia’s first time participating in the event that consists of project management-oriented business cases.

40 teams of four students, representing Quebec universities participated this year. The teams were divided into 10 divisions with five undergraduate teams and five masters teams moving on to the final round. Université de Sherbrooke took the top spot in the undergraduate category with HEC Montréal and a second team from Sherbrooke finishing in second and third respectively.

The John Molson Case Competition Committee (JMCC) would like to thank coaches Glenn Funamoto, Nelson Julien, Samie Li and Chelsea Paquette for successfully guiding the team into uncharted waters.

The JMCC also thanks Mark Haber, head coach and advisor to the Competition Program, for his boundless commitment.

The Committee would like to extend its deepest gratitude to Exclusive Partner PepsiCo Foods Canada, Premier Partner Pfizer Canada, Maxi, Power Corporation of Canada, and Database Sponsor PODIO for their support and encouragement of the case competition program.
