John Molson MSc in Marketing ranked #1 in Canada
The John Molson Master of Science in Marketing program has been ranked first in Canada by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the world's largest, international higher education network. The program shares this honour with HEC Montreal’s Masters in Marketing.
Five indicators were used to compile the ranking: employability, alumni outcomes, value for money, thought leadership and class and faculty diversity.
The MSc in Marketing scored particulary high in the value for money category, as did Concordia’s MSc in Management, while the JMSB’s MSc in Finance was found to be one of the most diverse programs of its type.
QS determined the rankings based on an evaluation of over 400 schools from 50-plus countries, making these rankings the most comprehensive of their kind.
“It is tremendously satisfying to receive this recognition,” says JMSB Dean Anne-Marie Croteau. “Having strong, specialized masters programs, which yield solid research contributions from our graduate students, has been an important factor in our steadily rising research profile.”

QS also released its 2019 Global MBA Rankings, which examined 251 MBA programs from 37 countries.
