Flooding 

Spring showers bring flowers, but spring snowstorms bring flooding. From Quebec’s Eastern Townships to Southern Ontario and now Western Manitoba, many regions across the country are facing flood warnings. One commonly used method to prevent flooding is dredging the bottom of waterways, but is it enough? Pascale Biron, associate professor in the Department of Geography, Planning and Envrionment, can share her perspective on why dredging isn’t enough especially since the impact of climate change.
