The Pope in Bethlehem
On Sunday, May 25, Pope Francis visited Bethlehem and prayed at the separation wall in Bethlehem that separates Israel from the West Bank. The Pope also issued an invitation to host the Israeli and Palestinian presidents for a prayer summit meeting at the Vatican. Donald Boisvert, associate professor in the Department of Religion, can share his expertise on the Pope’s motivations.
