Father's Day

Sunday, June 15 is Father’s Day in North America, but Quebec didn’t always celebrate dad like the rest of Canada. Peter Gossage, professor in the Department of History, recently released a study that notes that the holiday wasn’t really celebrated in Quebec until the 1940s, after the Second World War. Gossage is available to share his expertise on the history of the holiday and fatherhood in Quebec.
