Media portrayal of Ebola

The cases of Ebola in West Africa are on the rise and on Tuesday, August 5 the second America aid worker to be recently diagnosed arrived in the U.S. for treatment. Despite the gravity of the situation in Africa, has reporting on the Ebola epidemic been reckless? David Secko, associate professor in the Department of Journalism, and Alan Conter, lecturer in the Department of Journalism, can share their expertise on the media and responsible reporting.
