On Saturday, August 9, sprint car driver, Kevin Ward Jr., was struck was killed after an on-track incident with NASCAR champion, Tony Stewart. In a sport that relies so heavily on sponsorship and personalities – how does Ward’s death impact not only the NASCAR brand, but Stewart’s personal brand as an athlete?
