Ukrainians head to the polls again

Ukraine’s president, Petro Poroshenko, has dissolved parliament and called for early elections on October 26 as the country continues to battle a pro-Russia insurgency in its eastern regions. Kyle Matthews, senior deputy director and the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies, and Chedly Belkhodja, principal in the School of Community and Public Affairs, can weigh in on why the snap election has been called and what this might mean for the country.
