Police protests & 44 city workers charged for trashing city hall in pension protest

On August 18, hundreds of municipal workers charged Montreal city hall and trashed council chambers to protest pension plan reform. Forty-four city employees face charges for their role in the protest. Amy Swiffen, assistant professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, can share her expertise on deviance and the legal system.
