National news outlets reported on the Digital Mass Atrocity Prevention (DMAP) Lab, founded by Kyle Matthews, senior deputy director of the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies (MIGS).
The articles touch on efforts to track the ISIS risk on social media, as well as on Matthews' recent launch of a crowdfunding campaign to raise money to send the DMAP Lab team to a conference in Germany this June that will explore the issue of online hate propaganda.
Coverage appears in the Montreal Gazette, Global Montreal, News.nom, Montreal City and Press, Yahoo, and Danil News. Matthews was also interviewed on CBC Montreal's Daybreak, as well as on syndicated CBC afiliates across the country.
An op-ed penned by Matthews appears in the February 9 edition of the National Post.
