• Montreal restaurateur and Concordia alumnus Jonathan Dresner (BA psychology 04, BComm 03) is featured along with former Montreal Alouette's football star Anthony Calvillo in a Montreal Gazette article about Calvillo being honoured by Dresner. The owner of the Notre-Boeuf-de-Grâce hamburger restaurants has created a "Calvillo burger". The article notes that Dresner once captained the Stingers men's basketball team.
• Author Lesley Crewe, a Concordia graduate, is profiled in the Halifax Chronicle Herald.
