  • Flare runs a story on how Canadian millennials are dealing with the housing crunch.  Vancouver resident Lilly Wilson, among the ten millennials who are profiled, tells the publication that that she wants to make housing a human right and explains that she discovered a passion for urban issues while working on her BA at Concordia (14, urban planning). The article is reprised by MSN News and KISS925.com
  • Two Concordia alumni are featured in a Globe and Mail series about startup businesses: Carmelo Marsala (BA, finance), founder and president of home exterior painting company Spray-Net Inc.; Kam Lal, a District 3 alumnus who graduated from Concordia  with a major in computer science and a minor in music and founded Notetracks Inc., whose mobile music-annotation software lets users share audio files.
  • AMEQ en ligne posts a release announcing the appointment of Annie-Claude Banville (BFA) as academic dean of Vanier College.
  • Le Soleil profiles long time Quebec rugby coach Bill McNeil (BA 79, philosophy).
