October 7, 2022
|
On an exceptional basis this year, you can expect a Reading Day in the fall term. Some key dates to keep in mind for October 2022:
- Election Day — Monday, October 3: Concordia buildings and libraries remain open but all classes and instructional activities are cancelled to give you the day off to vote in the provincial election.
- Thanksgiving Day — Monday, October 10: The university is closed for the Thanksgiving holiday.
- Reading Day — Tuesday, October 11: Concordia buildings and libraries remain open but no classes or instructional activities will take place.
- Make-up day — Wednesday, October 12: No regular Wednesday classes held. Concordia has designated October 12 a make-up day for classes cancelled on Election Day.
Looking ahead to the 2023-24 academic year, you can expect a 12-week fall term as Concordia adopts a new Reading Week.
