A team of academic counsellors from the Faculty of Arts and Science’s Student Academic Services office took part in three days of student orientation, organized by the New Student Programme of Counselling and Development. Roberto Chen-Rangel and Graeme McGravie led the interactive sessions, with prizes, salsa dancing and tips for academic success being the order of the day! New students had the opportunity to get all their questions answered, from how health insurance works, where the Concordia bookstores are located, to how to get a Concordia e-mail address. All three sessions were well attended by enthusiastic and eager new students. We’re off to a good start!
