Group to lobby for stronger workforce
Bram Freedman, Concordia Vice-President External Relations and Secretary-General, was invited to represent the university as a member of the Conseil emploi métropole.
The new organization, launched in partnership with the Quebec Ministry of Employment and Social Solidarity, was recently created to foster greater economic development and employment growth across the Montreal region.
The Conseil will unite 20 representatives from economic development groups, industry, labour and the general community.
Freedman is one of three members from the education sector who will participate in the Conseil’s efforts to coordinate economic development across the Greater Montreal region.
