Graduate business students present research
For the second year in a row, the John Molson School of Business (JMSB) showcased student research through their Annual Graduate Research Exposition (AGRE).
In total, 34 Master and doctoral students from across the Faculty presented their research findings in a poster format. The posters were displayed in the MB Building lobby and atrium on the afternoon of November 18.
A cocktail reception on the sixth floor followed the exposition. A panel of 17 administrators, faculty members and business executives awarded prizes to the most successful presenters.
JMSB Dean Sanjay Sharma said, “This event exemplifies JMSB's commitment to research excellence based on rigour and relevance.”
The Faculty’s Associate Dean of Research and Research Programs Harjeet S. Bhabra added: "It is also a great way to reconnect with our alumni who return to serve as judges for the event. I think the networking experience for our students is truly a win-win outcome for all."
The event’s reception and prizes for the winners were made possible thanks to the generosity of Concordia University’s Office of the Vice President, Research and Graduate Studies; the Bell Research Centre for Business Process Innovations; the JMSB David O’Brien Centre for Sustainable Enterprise; the InterNeg Research Centre, Ms. J. Kavanagh and Mr. D. Walcot, the Kenneth Woods Portfolio Management Program Client Committee, Ms. D. Vincent (MacDougall, MacDougall & MacTier Inc.) and the John Molson Doctoral Students Society (JMDSS).
