Concordians give back
The third annual John Molson School of Business (JMSB) Toy Drive has ended another very successful campaign, as organizers received double the amount of toys donated in previous years.
Over 500 toys were delivered to the Montreal Children’s Hospital Child Life Department on December 14.
Once again, Concordians showed their generosity and enthusiasm for a good cause.
The toy drive committee included Eva Ferrara, Jay Mazzamauro, Ramona Senecal and Donna Craven. "We are always overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness of the Concordia community," says Ferrara, a department coordinator at the John Molson School of Business. "Thanks to your gifts, we have not only met our goal, we've surpassed it. Your support has helped brighten a child's day during the Holiday Season."
"A special thank you goes out to our friends from Advancement and Alumni Relations," she continues. "They raised funds for the drive and with the help of Denawares Corporation, who sold toys at below cost were able to donate over 200 toys. We also want to thank the law firm Kugler-Kandestin, who once again this year donated boxes full of toys to us. A special thanks to our wonderful elves from Distribution Services who delivered the toys to the Montreal Children's Hospital."
