Ready to clean out that cluttered closet? Now’s a good time.

In an effort to support student parents in achieving their educational goals, the Concordia University Student Parents (CUSP) Centre has created a program to help fill their needs outside the classroom.

The Free Goods program provides tangible benefits to student parents by making available household items and clothing often needed by young families.

CUSP is now accepting clean and usable children’s equipment (car seats, high chairs, strollers, etc.), clothing for kids up to 12 years of age, children’s toys, CDs, DVDs and books, as well as adult clothing bought within the last seven years, especially winter clothing.

While larger items are welcome, such as kitchen equipment, furniture or appliances, CUSP requests that delivery be arranged in advance due to limited storage space.

To make a donation, please call 514-848-2431 or send an email. CUSP is located on the second floor of 1410 Guy St., Room 24; the centre is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
