Reaching out to the community
Concordia’s reputation for accessibility is being reinforced with a new publication that invites people living near Quartier Concordia and in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce to learn more about the university and take advantage of its many offerings.
Those who live near the Loyola and Sir George Williams campuses will soon receive a copy of À la carte. Published three times a year, the new bilingual publication will feature information about Concordia’s latest news, programs and public events.

“Concordia is deeply committed to engaging with the local community through our research and teaching, and as a civic institution,” explains Chief Communications Officer Philippe Beauregard. “This new publication marks a concrete effort to enhance communications with our neighbours.”
Available in print and on the web, À la carte provides a point of entry for people not regularly on campus. Through À la carte, they can find out about the university’s concerts, public lectures and shows, register for an on-campus fitness class, or discover how Concordia is building a better future through various research initiatives and community projects.
Neighbours are also encouraged to subscribe to Concordia’s weekly NOW e-newsletter to keep up-to-date on the university’s news and activities.
