Researchers participate in major francophone conference
The Association francophone pour le savoir (Acfas) has long kept academic research front and centre in Quebec. This week, Acfas celebrates its 80th anniversary at Montreal’s Palais des congrès with five days of academic conferences and public presentations.
It’s the ideal mixer for French-speaking academics and researchers from Concordia are delighted to be part of the action! The university has a solid presence at this year’s conference, boasting participation in colloquia on subjects ranging from aboriginal perspectives to fluvial geomorphology. Among the colloquia in which Concordia researchers are participating, several are of interest to the general public.
