CJLO offers cool Montreal compilation

CJLO is Concordia’s campus/community radio station at 1690 AM. The station recently held their first funding drive in March.

CJLO 1690's main focus over the years has been to support new local talent, and alongside the funding drive, Head Music Director Omar Husain wanted "to do something a little extra, a cool added bonus,” so they created a Montreal-based music compilation available on their website.

The compilation, titled You’re Related Vol. 1: Montreal Artists Covering Montreal Artists, features local bands celebrating the diverse and outstanding music scene in Montreal.

Those who contributed to the funding drive received codes to download the album free of charge. But despair not! The compilation is still available online for a pay-what-you-can donation.

The download features 20 different artists and a high-resolution digital booklet as a bonus item. This booklet contains a one-page feature for each band as well as full recording credits.
