Susanne Thorup named manager, Career and Placement Services

Howard Magonet, Director of Counselling and Development (C&D), is pleased to announce the appointment of Susanne Thorup as manager of the Career and Placement Services (CAPS) unit at C&D.

Effective June 11, 2012, Thorup is responsible for the delivery of all programs and services for the unit.??Thorup has a Master's in Counseling and Human Services and seven years of experience advising students at the University of Notre Dame.

As the Assistant Director for Internship Programs at the Notre Dame Career Center, Susanne counselled students regarding job and internship searches and cultivated close working relationships with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and employers, making her a valuable asset to the team.
