Concordia University granted eight honorary doctorates during the spring convocation ceremonies held from June 18 to 20. The distinguished recipients joined 5,046 students, from across Concordia’s four Faculties and the School of Graduate Studies, who were eligible to graduate this spring.

Photos from the convocation ceremonies are posted below. All the ceremonies were webcast and archives are now available.

Honorary doctorate recipient Gaston Kaboré presents the convocation address to the graduates of Concordia’s Faculty of Fine Arts. Kaboré was honoured for his work promoting filmmaking on the African continent and beyond, and for his dedication to transmitting an appreciation of film, video and multimedia creation to young artists through his teaching.
