In Memoriam: Paul Hrasko

The following is a messge from Marc Denoncourt, Associate Vice-President & CIO of Instructional and Information Technology Services (IITS):

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing away of long-time friend and colleague Paul Hrasko last week. 

Paul was part of the Loyola community for over 30 years before retiring two years ago. He began in the Audio Visual Department which merged with Computing Services to form IITS. For several years before his retirement he was responsible for the installed computer, audio and projection equipment in Loyola classrooms as well as providing first class advice to departments who were considering their own audio and visual installations.

Professors will remember him for his quiet presence in the classrooms always ensuring that everything was working to their satisfaction.
 
A memorial service will be held for Paul on Monday, July 30 at 10:30 a.m. in the Loyola Chapel (7141 Sherbrooke St., W).
