Hospitality Concordia will retire the UBookIt reservation program on December 14 at 5 p.m. to prepare for the implementation in January of the new event management software system, called MyEvents.

As of December 17, until MyEvents is up and running, space can be requested from Hospitality Concordia by completing a form that will be available at Hospitality Concordia’s ‘Planning an event on campus’ web page.

“We look forward to making MyEvents and its many new features available to the entire community,” says Marie-Josée Allard, Hospitality Concordia’s director. “We thank all our clients for working with us during the transition period.”

The new event management system will be used to request all spaces managed by Hospitality Concordia. MyEvents will consolidate all event-related policies, waivers and information to make it easier to plan and book campus events. “MyEvents is a great system because it is comprehensive and streamlined,” says Allard.

“Before requesting space, you can see pictures of our venues and check on their availability,” she says. “Once you make a request, you get an immediate cost estimate, and then you can add services to your submitted request, as well as follow the status of your request online.”

Meeting and event spaces managed by designated space administrators are not affected by the launch of MyEvents, and the procedures currently in place for booking those spaces remain the same.
