Happy Earth Day!

A myriad of activities at Concordia to boost global environmental awareness

|

Concordia University is one of the most sustainable universities in Canada, so it's no wonder that there are scads of environmental events and initiatives going on around Earth Day, held annually on April 22.

Read about the new water fountains being installed, the renovations to the Ed Meagher Arena, or about the environmentally friendly buildings popping up on both campuses. Find out about one student's work term at Équiterre, six students studying in Germany, how design students are working sustainability into their work, or the student-run City Farm on the Loyola Campus. And be sure to vote for your favourite upcycling project in the David O'Brien Centre for Sustainable Enterprise contest that runs until April 26.
