Science Pavilion freight elevator is currently under repair

The freight elevator in the Science Pavilion (SP) is currently under repair. Passenger elevators are being used temporarily to transport hazardous waste.

TEMPORARY SAFETY MEASURES ARE CURRENTLY IN PLACE

• Priority is as follows:   
  1) passengers with disabilities
  2) passengers transporting hazardous materials
  3) all other passengers
• Individuals transporting hazardous waste must use an empty elevator; other passengers may not travel in an elevator being used to transport hazardous materials.
• Individuals transporting hazardous materials MUST wear protective gear: lab coat, safety glasses, and gloves. They must also use a cart with edge guards.
