University holiday schedule: Dec. 21, 2013 to Jan. 5, 2014

This year, Concordia University is observing a holiday schedule from Saturday, December 21 to Sunday, January 5.

No classes or other instructional activities will occur.* Only staff, faculty and graduate students with appropriate Concordia-issued identification will have access to offices, studios and laboratories; undergraduate students will require a letter from their respective departments.

*Please note that certain exceptions may apply, including privatized and executive MBA courses.

Shuttle bus service

• The shuttle buses will not be operational.

Sir George Williams and Loyola libraries

• December 20: Closed at 5 p.m.
• December 21 to December 26: Closed.
• From 8:30 a.m. on December 27 to 10 p.m. on December 29: Open 24 hours a day for study only (circulation and reference services will be unavailable).
• December 30 to January 2: Closed.
• From 8:30 a.m. on January 3 to 10 p.m. on January 5: Open 24 hours a day for study only (circulation and reference services will be unavailable).
• Please use the Mackay Street entrance to access the R. Howard Webster Library in the J.W. McConnell Building.

Food services

• Chartwells food service units will be closed
• In accordance with the meal plan agreement, the last meal service this year will be available at lunch on December 20. Service will resume January 5 for dinner (both campuses).

Parking

• Parking in the J.W. McConnell Building will be closed from December 21 to January 5.
• Loyola parking will remain open.
• Faubourg Tower parking will be closed on December 25 only.

Tunnel access

• Tunnels on the Sir George Williams Campus will be closed after 11 p.m. on December 20 until 7 a.m. on January 6.

Daycare

• Sir George Williams Campus: Operational on December 23, 27 and 30.
• Loyola Campus: Operational on December 23 and 24, as well as January 2 and 3.

Work-out facilities

• Le Gym (downtown) will be closed from December 23 to January 5.
• Le Centre (Loyola Campus) will be closed from December 21 to January 1.

Ed Meagher Arena

• Closed from December 23 to January 1.

Stinger Dome

• Closed from December 23 to January 3.

Gymnasium (Loyola)

• Closed from December 22 to 25, and from December 31 to January 5.
