SIS project team gears up for fall testing push
On August 11, the SIS Renewal Project team and Steering Committee members gathered at the Montefiore building for a working breakfast to regroup and focus on the upcoming testing and training phases for the project’s implementation this fall.
Brad Tucker, chair of the SIS Steering Committee and associate vice-president Registrarial Services welcomed the team back from summer holidays and facilitated a collaborative, consensus-building exercise to draw out the overarching benefits all users can expect from the new system come launch time in January 2015.
Until then, a series of project milestones must be met to fully test all system components, validate functionality according to user needs, and deliver training to faculty and staff in preparation for system launch.
Project progress and training information will be available on the SIS Renewal Project hub at the appropriate time. Stay tuned and visit the hub often for latest news and project updates.
