15 memorable Concordia moustaches
On November 1, hundreds of thousands of men bid adieu to the facial-hair creations that previously comforted cheek, chin and upper lip. Then they embark on a journey of self-discovery: every day a bolder, bushier, more luxuriant upper-lip’s-worth of commitment bursts forth into life.
The Movember mission — to grow a moustache for the month of November — isn’t easy, but it’s important. Last year, almost one million “Mo Bros” and supportive “Mo Sistas” raised $131 million to combat men’s health issues like prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental illness. The worldwide charity campaign is now in its 11th year.
Are you sporting a mo' for the cause this year? If so, send your best moustache shots to now@concordia.ca and we'll feature them in an online gallery at the end of the month.
A moustache isn’t just a gizmo for a good cause: it’s an art form that, like so many others, our university excels at. These 15 Concordia moustaches show’em how it’s done. Eat your heart out, Burt Reynolds!
