The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) has released its annual sustainability review and Concordia is one of only 11 institutions worldwide profiled because of their contribution to sustainability. It’s also one of only two Canadian institutions featured in the report.

The 2014 Higher Education Sustainability Review is a big-picture look at the trends captured in the nearly 1,350 stories published on campuses throughout the year. It highlights campus sustainability success stories and implementation tips from colleges and universities in the United States, Canada, Denmark and Singapore.

AASHE chose to profile the intensive postdoctoral summer school held last August that focused on net-zero energy buildings.
