4. SEASONAL HARMONIES

Get swept away by traditional Christmas music played on the organ. On Sunday, December 13, enjoy a performance by Swedish organist Hans-Ola Ericsson. The McGill music professor has given concerts throughout Europe as well as in Russia, Japan, Korea, the United States and Canada. His numerous recordings include a highly acclaimed production of French composer Olivier Messiaen's organ music.
On Sunday, December 20, William Porter, a part-time music professor from the Eastman School of Music, at the University of Rochester in New York, will perform. A graduate of Oberlin College and Yale University, Porter teaches organ, organ improvisation and harpsichord.

5. A HOLIDAY FEAST

Come all ye students, faculty and staff to Hospitality Concordia's annual holiday feast. Enjoy a sumptuous meal that includes a choice of salad, main dish, side dish and dessert. Tickets cost $12 and all proceeds go toward Concordia’s Student Emergency and Food Fund.

6. KEEP CALM AND BID ON — THE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS AUCTION
Libraries’ Annual Christmas Auction | J.A. DeSève Cinema, J.W. McConnell Building (1400 De Maisonneuve Blvd. W.), Sir George William Campus | December 14, noon to 2 p.m.
From signed hockey sticks to fine jewellery, you can find all manner of treasures at the Concordia Annual Christmas Auction. For just $2 at the door or the cost of a raffle ticket, you can bid to your heart's content on food, art, one of a kind trinkets, you name it!
And it's a guilt-free spending spree to boot, as all proceeds go toward supporting a number of charitable organizations.
7. CONCORDIA'S GOT TALENT
Second annual concert to support Centraide | D.B. Clarke Theatre, Henry F. Hall Building (1455 De Maisonneuve Blvd. W.), Sir George William Campus | Wednesday, December 16, noon to 1 p.m. (doors open at 11:45 a.m.)
Catch inspired performances by musicians Danielle Carter, Natalie Charles, Cynthia Hedrich, Lisa Mahabir and Danielle Pullen and more. Tickets for this year's edition, directed by Fabiola Cacciatore, are $12. All proceeds go to support Concordia's Centraide Campaign. So far this year, the campaign has raised 95 per cent of its $190,000 fundraising goal.
