Maker culture meets academia

Noted open-source technology pioneer Massimo Banzi, co-founder of Arduino, is bringing his thoughts and opinions to Concordia tomorrow, Thursday, September 29.

During a reception hosted by the Milieux Institute, Banzi will discuss the relationship between universities and maker culture. Beforehand, he’ll deliver an advanced Arduino workshop.

Described as ‘an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to use hardware and software,’ Arduino has been used as the brains of thousands of projects worldwide.
