‘Years of excellence and high academic standards’: 63 Concordians celebrate milestone achievements
Sixty-three librarians and faculty members at Concordia received promotions and/or tenure in 2018, a milestone celebrated at a special event held on September 27.
“The achievements of this year’s promotion and tenure recipients reflect their commitment to academic excellence, teaching and scholarship that serves our students and supports Concordia’s growing reputation nationally and internationally,” says Graham Carr, provost and vice-president, Academic.
“We’re proud to celebrate these gifted faculty and librarians. They are instrumental in securing our position as a next-generation university and they contribute meaningfully to ensuring Concordia’s overall success and well-being.”
Nadia Hardy, vice-provost of Faculty Relations, agrees.
“This recognition marks years of excellence and high academic standards,” she says.
”They performed superbly in their teaching, research and service roles, and the culmination of this exceptional work is the receipt of their tenure and/or promotions.”
