How to get a student identification card

A student ID card is key: it lets you borrow items from the Library, use on-campus printers, hop on the shuttle bus, get a reduced-fare OPUS card, attend final exams, and more.

To get your student ID, you'll need to book an appointment via the Student Hub> My CU Account> Personal information & accounts> Get a student ID card. You can also book an appointment via the Concordia app. You can do so 24 hours after registering for a fall term course.

If you run into any technical difficulties, get in touch with the IITS service desk

We will charge the $12.70 fee directly to your student account. (A replacement card costs $16.)

Please note the Card Services team is now handling student ID cards. From now until August 20, we'll meet you at the Welcome Centre for your appointment. Use the entrance at 1452 Bishop Street.

For a student ID card after that, these are your two options:

Sir George Williams Campus

Card Services is taking appointments in the LB atrium, with longer opening hours during the back-to-school period. Book your spot now!

  • August 23 to September 3: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • September 7 to September 17: Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • September 11: Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 pm.

Loyola Campus

Card Services will be set up in the SP building lobby near the security office, on a first-come, first-served basis, with no appointment necessary.

  • September 3: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • September 7 to September 10: Tuesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
