Concordia’s shuttle bus will be undergoing some scheduling changes.

Starting July 2, 2024, the university bus system will be scaled back so that it serves its primary mission to support students’ inter-campus travel during Concordia’s core hours.

The aim is to continue providing the service to students, even as the university navigates a difficult financial situation.

“We understand that this change may impact the daily routines of some of our community members and appreciate their understanding and cooperation during this time,” says Des O’Neill, manager of distribution, transportation and mail services in Facilities Management.

The new shuttle bus schedules will reflect fewer routes and less frequent service:

From July 2 to August 16

  • 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday
  • 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday

From August 18 to 30:

  • 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday

Details on a reduced fall schedule will be communicated later this summer.

Other transportation options

The website for the Société de transport de Montréal includes an interactive trip planner to help users get from one location to another using public transportation. Transit fares vary based on a user’s entry point and status.

For other transportation options, university community members can refer to the Directions to Concordia web page.
