Reduced fall term shuttle bus service
Starting September 3, Concordia will implement a revised shuttle bus schedule for the fall 2024 term.
The university bus system will continue to be available to students, faculty and staff throughout the day, yet the scaled back schedule will see routes start later and finish earlier than in past years.
The aim is to continue to provide the service to the Concordia community, even as the university navigates a difficult financial situation.
“We recognize that this adjustment may affect the routines of our students, faculty and staff,” says Marie-Claude Lavoie, associate vice-president of Facilities Management. “We did not take this decision lightly and appreciate everyone’s understanding during this transition.”
The new shuttle bus schedule for the fall 2024 term runs from September 3 to December 17.

Other transportation options
The website for the Société de transport de Montréal includes an interactive trip planner to help users get from one location to another using public transportation. Transit fares vary based on a user’s entry point and status.
For other transportation options, university community members can refer to the Directions to Concordia web page.
Additional support for student residents
Student residents can expect their manager and resident assistants to help them navigate many aspects of university life after they move in, including traveling on public transit, if needed.
Staff regularly assist residents in figuring out how to get an Opus card, as well as plan activities to get students accustomed to taking the public transit system.
